Conduct quarterly choking assessments for each individual in day only and residential programs identified as high risk. Review all dietary changes for day only and residential programs. Conduct specialized training for new hire orientations, boot camp classes and on-going as needed. Review medications charts, labs and medication counts to ensure accuracy within the group home. Assisting group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed. Review charts to ensure all required documentation has been received. This unit specializes in offering emotional support to the new dyad while also providing extensive teaching and crucial education prior to discharge. Experience Required One year minimum of acute RN women and children's experience required.
