Order appropriate diagnosis tests – laboratory, radiology, nuclear medicine, continuous glucose monitoring. Evaluate endocrinology patients’ medical history, physical exam findings, and diagnostic/laboratory data Formulate endocrinology care plans using established guidelines from the Endocrine Society, ACE, ATA, other sources as appropriate, and under the direction of an endocrinologist Additional areas of care may be assigned (thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gender affirming care, and other endocrinology disorders) Educates patients and families and helps them understand issues related to physical and emotional health and promotes wellness. Maintains accurate and complete patient records in compliance with organizational policy Refers patients to specialty services when appropriate. Provides professional medical services within the scope of training and responsibility, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and organizational policies. Support physicians with office clinical responsibilities. Participates in decisions, planning, and policies related to clinical care.
