MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Position Summary Reporting to the Manager, with direction from the Registered Nurse, this position is responsible for providing high quality, individualized basic care activities as identified by the RN, using the components of the nursing process. The Supervisor manages operations and services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice, service priorities. Lastly, the Supervisor is responsible for performance and outcome measures, as well as strategic, business, and organizational goals/objectives. Minimum Requirements A bachelor’s degree in nursing, coupled with a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience, is required. Master’s degree in health services, business administration, or management preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing patient care in an outpatient/inpatient setting, with preferred experience in staff supervision A current, valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing is required. Experience with audits and health care inspections, preferred. Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is preferred. A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines. Bilingual English/Spanish/Chinese, preferred, depending upon the site.
