Job Overview Fairview has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our Cancer Care team at the Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN This is a 1.0 FTE ( 80 hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible opening. Rehabilitation Services are provided at both our Minneapolis and St Paul Hospitals as well as six outpatient therapy clinics. Children’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine program brings together outpatient support for children with complex needs and dedicated inpatient consultative care to support the acute needs of hospitalized patients. Ambulatory clinics at Children’s MN include primary care clinics that are the longest running Health Care Home in Minnesota for children with complex chronic health care needs; spina bifida clinic; NICU follow up clinics; and post-fetal (in utero) clinical care. Hospitalization efforts support a focus on tertiary- and quaternary-care, including a large oncology program, two level 3 NICUs, a pediatric CVICU and heart transplant program, two PICUs, level 1 pediatric surgery verification care, and pediatric level 1 trauma.
