Our program is distinguished by its robust Perinatal Palliative Care Program and close collaboration with the Fetal Center, offering a unique opportunity to support families beginning at the time of prenatal diagnosis while also caring for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with serious, complex, or life-limiting illnesses. In addition to our longstanding work in neonatal and pediatric palliative care, the APP partners with multidisciplinary teams caring for children with cancer and other complex medical conditions. The Pediatric Palliative Care APP is a key member of an interdisciplinary consultative team dedicated to improving quality of life through expert communication, care coordination, collaborative symptom assessment, and family-centered decision support. Job Description We are in search of a Registered Nurse for the PICU at Main Campus for NIGHTSHIFT . Someone who excels in fast-paced learning with dynamic flexibility in a critical care setting. This position encompasses direct nursing care to critically ill patients, while ensuring safety and comfort, within our family centered care model. Our PICU is divided into 4 cohorts for better patient outcomes. The 4 cohorts are: 9 LT: Surgical and Neuro-surgical ICU that encompasses post liver & kidney transplants, trauma patients, seizure disorder patients, and post-operative patients 10 LT: MICU focusing on pulmonary/pulmonary hypertension patients, bone marrow transplant/hematology/oncology patients 11 LT: MICU that encompasses a mix of medical-surgical patients. 12 LT: Transitional ICU is a unique cohort that focuses on our chronic, technology dependent patients who need intense education with the patient and family before discharging home. Summary The Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine is offering a six‑month Sexual Medicine and Men’s Health Preceptorship for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This internship provides hands‑on clinical training in men’s health, sexual medicine, and general urology within an outpatient clinic setting at the McNair Campus. Under the supervision of experienced urology providers, the intern will gain competence in managing conditions such as hypogonadism, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, orgasmic dysfunction, infertility, and related urologic concerns. The curriculum includes both clinical experience and structured didactic learning. This part‑time temporary position provides valuable exposure and learning opportunities within our team. Job Summary Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm, Weekday On-call with rotating weekends required. Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
