License & Certification Professional License with State of Practice - Required Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Core Job Functions Documents all patient related clinical information and assesses patient for special needs and plans appropriate intervention. Comprehensive review of the patient's medical history is performed and documented. Engages resources to facilitate timely discharge and throughput starting on admission. Anticipates forecasted patient care discharge needs to ensure throughput targets met. Provides input that decreases inefficiencies for unit, staff in collaboration with the manager. Contributes to formulation of nursing careplan for patients in consultation with the RN and in collaboration with patient, families, healthcare members using established nursing diagnoses and nursing protocols.
