Responsibilities The Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The CNA/NA position is directly responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA utilizes knowledge of the patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The CNA/NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred. Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
