Position Summary The Nursing Assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Staff members will manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems and end-of-life care. 5 West is known as the “5 West Wolfpack” because of its outstanding teamwork. Its centralized nursing station allows staff to build camaraderie, learn and grow together. The culture and close-knit environment on 5 West make this unit ideal for new and experienced nurses.
