Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Experience : Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse; One year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. Licensure/Certification : Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license; Current DEA registration and CDS permit; Current BLS (AHA) required; ACLS required (PALS if applicable). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Strong critical thinking and clinical competence; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively across all disciplines; Strong organizational skills; Proficiency in coding (ICD-10 & CPT) or commitment to learn; Knowledge of case management and managed care.
