Key Responsibilities Works collaboratively with other members of the team to obtain history and perform physical examinations to assess and treat acute injuries and illnesses. The ideal candidate must be comfortable practicing independently with physicians available via phone for consultations Provides preliminary interpretation of x-ray with radiology over-read. Obtains and interprets appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities Provides health care teaching and counseling regarding presenting complaints. Provides minor laceration repair with an adhesive or sutures; removes staples and sutures. Maintains health records in EHR (Epic).
