Key Responsibilities Complete psychiatric evaluations, assessments, reassessments, and clinical documentation as required. Provide medication management services, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications in accordance with scope of practice. Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Review laboratory results, monitor blood levels, review physician orders, and support ongoing medication management needs. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, specialists, therapists, pharmacies, and other treatment providers. Support discharge planning, medication coordination, and continuity-of-care efforts. Collaborate with clinical and nursing teams regarding treatment planning and medication-related needs. Provide education and clinical support to staff regarding psychiatric, behavioral health, and medication-related concerns. Participate in treatment team meetings, peer review activities, clinical review meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with CARF standards, licensing requirements, payer requirements, and organizational policies. Complete all required trainings and perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education, Licensure & Credentials Active and unencumbered Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) license required. DEA registration required or eligible to obtain. Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use disorder treatment experience preferred. Strong background in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and co-occurring disorders preferred. Experience providing psychiatric medication management services preferred.
