Ensure correct counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before, during, and after the procedure. Care for and handle surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Assist with patient positioning, draping, and prepping as needed. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to minimize risks to patients and staff. Support and participate in quality improvement activities within the center. Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
