Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers. Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc. Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified Experience working in a long-term care setting. Job Description Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions: Assessment: Performs patient assessments, implements care plan, adheres to established standards of care. Identifies the physical, psychosocial and teaching/ learning needs of outpatients/inpatients with wounds and/or ostomy patients as well as patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy where applicable.
