POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ready for Discharge Unit (RDU) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care to patients medically ready for discharge but experiencing delays due to various barriers. The RN applies critical thinking, clinical skills, and collaborative decision-making to support patient-centered care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate efficient and effective discharge processes.
