Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule. Assesses assigned visits of hospice patients to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients as evidenced by documentation, in the clinical record and admission paperwork. Makes the initial evaluation and re-evaluates the patients' nursing needs during each visit. Reports unsafe conditions to the appropriate Clinical Supervisor and physician in a timely manner. Identifies deviations from normal Nursing and normal patient condition status.
