Licensure & Experience Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, required. Minimum of one (1) year of RN bedside experience, required Minimum of two to three (2–3) years of perioperative nursing experience, required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care management skills in a fast-paced perioperative environment, required.
