What you will do in this role: Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient- Coordinate and supervise nursing care activities during assigned shifts. Support daily operations, patient flow, staffing, and resource management for the Medical Surgical Unit. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff. Promote adherence to evidence-based practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. Collaborate with physicians, case management, therapy services, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. Assist with employee engagement, onboarding, education, and competency development. Monitor patient care quality indicators and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient safety. What qualifications you will need: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or an active Compact State RN license. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of one year of acute care Registered Nurse experience.
