De p artment Profile The Cerritos College Associate Degree Nursing Program is housed in the Health Occupations Division of Cerritos College, a single college district in the California Community College system. The four-semester program offers didactic and clinical coursework which leads to an Associate Degree in Nursing and qualifies the graduate for the California state board licensing exam (NCLEX-RN). The program has full state accreditation through the Board of Registered Nursing and has had for over 60 years. The program also holds full national accreditation with Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
