Identify educational needs and coordinate ongoing staff education and competency programs. Promote retention, accountability, teamwork, and professional development among nursing staff. Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management of nursing personnel. Ensure appropriate infection prevention and control practices are consistently followed. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland . Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting strongly preferred, or comparable supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and Maryland skilled nursing regulations. Knowledge of CMS requirements, infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey processes.
