This position qualifies for a sign on bonus up to 25k! Full Time day Registered Nurse RN on 2 Ross Acute Care at Lourdes Hospital. Department Description: 2 Ross is an 18 bed acute care unit at Guthrie Lourdes in Binghamton, NY. Our patient population includes surgical cases such as women's health, podiatry and other routine procedures as well as a mix of general medical diagnoses. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‐ based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Essential functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the specialty. Education, License & Cert: - Registered Nurse in the State of Practice. - BSN in Nursing preferred. - Any previously agreed upon effective date for obtaining a Bachelor's degree in nursing between individuals and facilities will remain in effect, including those who transition to their position from the NLRN Program. - Any contract with specific time frames for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing will supersede the above point and will remain in effect. - Specialty Certification is preferred - BLS certification. - ACLS is unit dependent. - PALS is unit dependent Experience: - The Registered Nurse must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the state of employment with at least one year of experience. Perioperative Resource Nurse

Job Description The pay range for this position is $39-54.12, Position Summary: The Perioperative Resource Nurse at The Guthrie Clinic Health System is designed to fill workforce gaps in high vacancy areas in the ORs. A Perioperative Resource Nurse may serve at either our Level 1 Trauma Center (Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital) or Guthrie Lourdes Hospital (197 bed multi specialty community hospital.) The incumbent will work in the services lines for which they have competencies. The Perioperative Resource Nurses provides a high-level of clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The Perioperative Resource Nurse puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN – System Resource makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority. Education, License & Cert: To be employed as an RN – Perioperative Resource Nurse, an individual must have at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, two years of recent experience in an acute care operating suite, and pass the NCLEX. The incumbent will preferably be proficient in two or more services. (General, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, DaVinci Robotics, Cardiology, GI, Vascular, Trauma). Ability to both scrub and circulate cases is preferential but not required. Duties: The caregiver will be employed as a Perioperative Resource Nurse (RN) for the following duties: Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide a high level of nursing care in units to which assigned. As an Evening RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our residents, while fostering a positive and compassionate work environment. About the Role: As an Evening RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare team during the evening shift.
