The UI Stead Family Department of Pediatrics division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking to hire a Staff Nurse. This position assesses bleeding disorder patients' nursing care needs, evaluates effectiveness of care provided, and integrates nursing theory and research into clinical practice. Collaborate with members of the clinical team in order to maintain patient care standards. Must have RN licensure. This is an outpatient position that works with hemophilia team [Nurses, physicians, mid-level providers, social work and specialty pharmacy. Position Responsibilities Provide Specialty Clinical/Technical Service/Patient Care Provide nursing care for approximately 700 patients of the IHTC; provide continuity of care throughout their life span.
