The Peckham Center is the largest pediatric cancer care provider and only pediatric blood and bone marrow transplant (BMT) program in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial Counties. The Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Unit consists of 38 beds, all in private rooms, and includes 10 BMT beds in positive pressure rooms. We partner with California Protons to offer proton therapy. The Outpatient Clinic works closely with both the Inpatient Unit and Proton to provide comprehensive care to those in outpatient treatment. In addition to patient care, we have a research alliance with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and UC San Diego, and follow Children’s Oncology Group (COG) treatment protocols.
