Receive patients in the recovery room and assist in transferring patient from the procedure room to the recovery room as needed. Create a warm, comforting environment in the recovery room. Supervise patients in the recovery room including but not limited to taking vital signs, assessing pain level, evaluating bleeding, educating, and using clinical judgement to escalate concerns to the abortion provider.
