About the Job: As part of the unit leadership team, the Resource Nurse directly oversees their designated unit’s operational flow on a particular shift. The Resource RN develops staff patient assignments based on staff competency, acuity, and volume. The role coordinates patient care activities and the staffing plan of a particular shift to maintain patient safety. They serve as a role model and resource for the team providing guidance and assistance in delivering quality care to patients. The Resource RN collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure adequate resources are available. What You’ll Do: Ensure unit-based practice guidelines and competencies are current. Maintain unit-based compliance with organizational, professional, and regulatory standards. Promote professional and regulatory knowledge to evaluate effectiveness of care delivery. Overview Registered Nurse Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests. Provide episodic and preventive care, including treatment and medication management. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consulting specialists. Communicate with families and guardians regarding resident care. Participate in care planning meetings, health rounds, and quality assurance initiatives. Assist in staff training and development. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Respond to emergencies and perform CPR as needed. Stay current with healthcare practices through ongoing education. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or developmental disabilities Valid Class C or D license Skills and Knowledge: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Familiarity with pediatric and developmental disability care preferred Why Join Us?
