Document treatments on the (EMR) Treatment Administration Record immediately when completed. Triage emergency situations and provide appropriate first aid in a timely manner. Complete appropriate reports and consult with Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Unit Manager or charge nurse on duty. Collaborate with physicians to assure timely visits, follow-up visits as indicated, signing of physician orders, and progress notes per policy and regulation. Supervise C.N.A.'s on their shift to assure proper timely delivery of resident care and completion of assignments. Complete work assignments with C.N.A.'s, and communicate any changes in resident care plan or condition of resident. Maintain PHI by assuring C.N.A.'s adhere to facility policy and procedure. Regulatory Compliance: Understand, comply with and promote all rules regarding resident rights. Educate and assure C.N.A. compliance with respect to resident rights. Report all suspected, alleged, or witnessed physical, sexual, or verbal abuse immediately to the Administrator, Abuse Prevention Coordinator and/or designee. Training and Development: Attend all staff meetings and in-services as required. Attend organization-wide programs and meetings to be informed and current on organizational strategies and programs. Maintain competence with specified nursing skills by performing competency training as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON).
