Facilitate collaborative partnership and promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do: In collaboration with each unit-based Resource RN, provide oversight and coordination of perioperative specifics, including but not limited to, onboarding/orientation of new staff, education and competency management, research and/or evidence-based practice and quality improvement. Provide professional role development. Manage and is responsible for the perioperative 101 program and the development of new Operating Room nurses. Facilitate student observation in the department. Coordinate/facilitate educational activities in collaboration with other departments or representatives. Participate in new product evaluation and facilitate education for staff when new product or equipment is introduced. Participate and represent the department in committees and meetings.
