POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospital Operations Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who assumes operational accountability for a specified shift. On a 24/7 basis, this individual shall have primary responsibility for human resource management, operational management, in the absence of the unit manager, as well as acting on behalf of the Hospital President in the absence of the Executive Staff and Department Directors and Managers. While on duty, the Hospital Operations Supervisor holds the ultimate responsibility for administrative and operational decision making.
