Completes daily assignments for staff based on their assessment of relative staff competencies, and responsibly ensures acuities are complete for all assigned patients. Provides meaningful for RN coaching, training, counseling discipline and performance assessments. Assists with employee hiring decisions, including interviewing and recommending candidates, conducting orientation, and training new employees. Required Qualifications Active, current, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification At least one (1) year of professional nursing knowledge and experience Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to guide, mentor, and support clinical staff while promoting collaboration and accountability Strong understanding of patient classification systems, acuity-based staffing models, and regulatory staffing requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism, flexibility, and composure in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and decision-making skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while fostering a patient-centered culture of safety and service excellence
