Ensures timely and appropriate actions for resolution. · Identifies staffing patterns to cover the unit’s needs around the clock. Sets and monitors staff schedules in relation to patient acuity, census, technology and resources management to meet budgetary needs. · Assesses and improves the services provided within the unit by implementing the Performance Improvement Program. Monitors and enforces the activities related to performance improvement and quality control. · Establishes and maintains Medical Center Safety and compliance policies. · All other duties as assigned. Qualifications · Florida RN License · BLS required · CNOR preferred · Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, BSN Required, MSN, Business, Health Administration or related field is strongly preferred. · 5 years of leading experience in an Operating room or related healthcare operational role and ten years in nursing/healthcare. Assessment of chief complaint and notification of physician within 15 minutes of arrival to unit. · Obtains and documents a complete nursing admission assessment, including physiological and psychological factors to develop an interdisciplinary plan of care within eight hours of admission. · Performs and documents an accurate system assessment at the beginning of each shift.
