Assists in preparation of the departmental operating and personnel budgets; manages the budget throughout the year, analyzes and monitors monthly reports and overtime runs for the department to ensure that the department operates within budget guidelines. * Reviews standards and related policies and procedures for compliance with requirements of regulatory agencies; recommends and implements changes as required and ensures changes are communicated to Patient Services staff; monitors and reviews departmental and unit compliance with reporting requirements. * Responds to problems that arise on a daily basis; resolves where possible, referring problems or responses to the appropriate individual as required; reviews and investigates all complaints received by the department with department members to ensure speedy resolution and reply.
