Coordinate with Human Resources and Nursing Administration for the transfer of staff, assessing their educational needs and documenting the Educational Plan. Supervises and evaluates Education staff to meet individual goals and adherence to the Medical Cetner’s policies and procedures. Interviews and recommends Education staff for the Department and provides orientation and professional development for Nursing Education staff. Works collaboratively with Nursing Administration to meet the changing clinical requirements of the profession through education. Handles the supply and equipment ordering for educational programs. Prepare reports for internal/external agencies and departments Write policies and procedures for the Department in conjunction with the Director. Maintains effective working relationships with other Departments and members of the Division of Nursing to maximize educational efforts. Works in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Education to oversee daily operations of the Nursing Education staff, ensuring appropriate workload distribution, accountability, and adherence to departmental standards.
