Job Description Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse to join its dynamic Interventional Radiology team in a Full-time status. Schedule: 4x 9 hour shifts weekly M-F, 1 on-call weekday night shift every 2 weeks, 1 weekend every 5 weeks. Unit covers hours: 8am-5pm Interventional Radiology Unit description: 6 pre/post procedural bays, 2 procedural rooms, this team handles approximately 14 procedures daily including but not limited to Biopsies (Liver, Bone, Bone Marrow), Never Ablation, Vascular Procedures, Drain and Line Placement, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, GI procedures. Nurses are trained to rotate through the Pre, Intra, and Post (recovery) areas of the department, working closely with the interventional radiology provider and techs to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes. Job Description The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures.
