Position Summary To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Job Description: Maya Home Care is seeking a dynamic and driven Home Care Director of Nursing to join our team. The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall clinical management, supervision, and coordination of nursing services provided by the agency. The DON ensures that all patient care is delivered safely, effectively, and in compliance with New Jersey Department of Health regulations, federal requirements, professional standards of nursing practice, and agency policies and procedures. Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and retention of clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations and competency assessments. Ensure staff maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education. Provide ongoing clinical education and professional development opportunities. Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Direct the agency's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Monitor clinical indicators, patient satisfaction, incident reports, infection control data, and quality metrics. Analyze trends and implement performance improvement initiatives.
