Job Summary: Provides nursing care and services to patients/families. Provides direction to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistive personnel. Teaching and Quality Improvement 1. Develops, documents and implements Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Record. 2. If competent, precept new staff Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk almost constantly up to 90% of work time and lifting and positioning patients up to 50% of work time.
