Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities Temporary Assignment Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - $65 per hour, Day/Evening Shift This position is a 6 month contract, day/evening (7am - 3:30pm & 3pm - 11:30pm) shift position working 32 hours per week. This position required working at least every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and additional weekend flexibility is necessary as scheduling is based off the needs of the hospital. To be considered for this position, an applicant must have a minimum of 1 year of psychiatric RN experience. Eligible applicants must be able to work both day and evening shifts. HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. Responsibilities Staff RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the House Supervisor. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and older adults. The Registered Nurse coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, directs and guides the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
