Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Posting Trinity Health's surgical suite/OR currently consists of 16 beds and was just recently renovated. This is a newly renovated area. We also have a Hybrid operating room is a surgical theatre that is equipped with advanced medical imaging devices such as fixed C-Arms , CT scanners or MRI scanners. These imaging devices enable minimally-invasive surgery, which is less traumatic for the patient. Minimally invasive means that the surgeon does not need to cut the patient open completely in order to access the body part wanted to perform surgery on, but can insert catheters or endoscopes through small holes. Though imaging has been a standard part of the OR for a long time in the form of mobile C-Arms , ultrasound and endoscopy , these new minimally-invasive procedures require imaging techniques that can visualize smaller body parts such as really thin vessels in the heart muscle and can be facilitated through intraoperative 3D imaging . Employment Type: Part time Shift: Night Shift Description: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital, 3 Lacks is a 32 all private bed acute care unit that serves patients that are 65 & older. A high acuity adaptable unit; regularly have patients who are on telemetry, cardiac drips, high-flow oxygen; bi-pap; etc. Older adult can deteriorate quickly, so this unit requires a high level of assessment skills, comfortability with advocating for whatever the older adult patient may need. Our unit is considered a high acuity unit (because older adults require a lot of extra time and TLC) which makes 3L a very fast-paced unit. For this reason, we provide nurse directed care.
