To be considered for the role, please apply at the following link: Position Details - Academic Personnel & Faculty Description The Department of Radiation Oncology has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Teaching Associate- Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C). The successful candidate’s primary site of practice will be UWMC-Northwest Gamma Knife Center, but may be asked to shift work to other UW/FHCC Radiation Oncology sites of practice if the clinical need arises. The selected candidate will be proposed for appointment to the full-time faculty as a Teaching Associate at the University of Washington with an anticipated start date of July 2026 or earlier. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The Radiation Oncology APP is a certified advanced practice provider whose integrated role encompasses both clinical care and education. The ARNP/PA-C functions collaboratively with attending physicians and as a key member of the interdisciplinary oncology team. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical judgment, a high degree of professional autonomy, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver exemplary, evidence-based oncology care.
