Evaluate and manage patients with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic imaging results. Collaborate with gynecologic oncologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Manage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive treatments. Monitor treatment response, identify adverse effects, and adjust care plans as appropriate. Assess and manage cancer- and treatment-related symptoms, including pain, fatigue, nausea, neuropathy, and menopausal symptoms. Provide survivorship care, surveillance for recurrence, and long-term follow-up. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, expected side effects, and supportive care. Coordinate care with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, genetic counselors, nurses, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Facilitate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care throughout the patient's cancer journey.
