Responsibilities The MDS Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of the minimum data set and all required resident assessment instruments per state and federal regulations. The MDS Coordinator provides direction to licensed nurses, non-professional nursing personnel and ancillary departments to ensure all staff are aware of, and competent in, their roles under the Prospective Payment System; and PDPM System.
