Follows up appropriately and effectively resolves customer and physician issues and complaints. Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs and maintain quality patient care. May authorize overtime or scheduling changes to fill shifts as necessary. Completes payroll in collaboration with Nurse Manager. Provides volumes & adjustments to reflect variances in staffing needs within Smart Square. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager to evaluate, maintain and improve patient care team member performance. Assists in implementing changes in clinical practice and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to ensure compliance with organization, department and unit specific goals. Provides patient care support when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Job Description The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. The Clinical RN II collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care.
