EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or Surgical Tech program EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years as a CVOR Certified Surgical Tech, required 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech in other specialties (General, Ortho, Urology, ENT, GYN, etc.), preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Certification from an accredited Surgical Tech Program Current Montana Nursing License (LPN only) BLS or obtain within 6 months of hire KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Basic medical terminology and anatomy, asepsis, and sterile technique.
