Job details: - Work in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department of a large hospital - Fast-paced environment handling 60-65 cases per day - Unit operates 7 rooms and manages cases neck-down with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies - Handles all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services - Uses Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee single-plane systems - Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off - No weekend requirements - On-call required as needed - May float to Cambridge IR Requirements: - ARRT Radiography certification required in hand - Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required, though candidates may start with a KS license pending - AHA BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of IR experience required - Scrub experience required - 3+ years of IR experience, large hospital experience, and peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred - New graduates will not be considered Additional information: - Siloed department setup within a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Orientation held every Monday and Tuesday, with additional nursing orientation Wednesday through Friday on a bi-weekly basis - Nicotine-free facility - Holiday coverage is not required - Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
