Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Qualifications Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations. Atlantic Coast Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical department and oversee all nursing operations. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing clinical staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous quality improvement within our healthcare environment. Currently Hiring Full Time DON Compensation: $150,000-$160,000/ year and is determined by experience Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage the entire nursing department and clinical staff. Ensure all resident care and nursing practices meet federal, state, and facility standards. Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and maintaining required 24/7 staffing ratios. Monitor care via daily rounds, enforce infection control, and investigate accidents. Screen prospective residents to ensure the facility meets their care needs.
