Description Position Summary: Provides direct and individual nursing care to assigned residents based on nursing standards and under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care (DRC). Also maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations and the standards of HRA. Essential Functions: Ensures quality and safe delivery of health services to residents Implements plan of care formulated by physician and DRC Provides accurate and timely documentation of care given Assesses and provides resident and family/care giver information pertinent to diagnosis or plan of care Administers medication per physician orders. Documents properly on MAR. Overview: Serves as a member of the critical care team by assisting in management of critically ill patients in the hospital. Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to ICU, CCU and CVICU settings in which they practice. SUMMARY: Under the management of the PACE SEMI’s Community Living Manager and the coordination of the Lead CLA, the Community Living Associate (CLA) provides supportive services to the participants (residents); including but not limited to the community setting, during transport and on appointments, or in the day health center while under the supervision of the manager, registered nurse, or lead CLA. The CLA’s responsibilities for each participant are specified in the CLA Care Plan. The following statements are intended to describe the essential elements, functions, and requirements of the position.
