Summary Under direct supervision of the specialty provider, will be responsible for patient assessment and care, and maintaining appropriate documentation. Proficient in operating and maintaining advanced life support equipment like ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and ECMO. Endoscopy RN: Assesses patient needs, reviews medical history, explains procedures, obtains consent, and prepares the patient for procedure. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. 6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions.
