Administers immunizations and medications as directed by medical provider. 10. Performs patient call processing as needed. 11. Performs audiometry, eye exams, EKG’s, and spirometry. 12. Provides and/or assists with coordination of orientation activities for new staff. 13. Assists with coordination of validating and revalidation of core job competencies. 14. Plans, coordinates, and leads training and re-training sessions pulling in other resources when necessary. 15. Assists Practice Manager with time card review/approval. 16. Responsible for leading the supply ordering process. 17. *Assists Practice Manager with staff scheduling and attendance tracking. 18. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. 19. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned. 20. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency required. Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required. Current listing on the Nebraska Medication Aide registry required. Graduation from a Medical Assistant (MA) program preferred.
