Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications Performs cleaning, sterilization and/or high-level disinfection of scopes, probe, instruments and equipment according to manufacturer instructions for use. Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include oral, intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous medication administration (exclusive of narcotics) as directed by a physician or physician assistant. Answers all patient questions and requests timely and appropriately. 10. Faxes and copies necessary information to insurance companies, other provider offices and facilities as necessary. 11. Responds to patient pharmacy requests in collaboration with providers. 12. Answers phones, retrieves voicemail messages and returns calls timely and appropriately. 13.
