As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents. Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and experienced CNA to work 8 hour shifts, including 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM. The ideal candidate will have a valid CNA certification in the state of Florida, high school diploma or equivalent, and previous experience as a CNA in a long-term care or nursing home setting. You will be responsible for providing personalized care and emotional support to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and preserving dignity. Observe and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention to their needs. Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, in accordance with facility protocols. Assist in the administration of medications and treatments under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff. Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal planning, feeding, and monitoring dietary intake as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents' rooms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans, following established protocols and guidelines. Foster positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and companionship. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment. Qualifications: Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Florida. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a CNA in a long-term care or nursing home setting is preferred. Knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures, with a focus on geriatric care.
