Assists in development of educational plans to ensure competency in vascular access of nursing and technical staff. Coordinates with other educators on house-wide educational activities. Collaborates with IV Therapy Nursing Leadership to identify educational and practice gaps to be addressed. Formulates and maintains policies and procedures based on best practices and applies this knowledge and skill in accordance with Sky Lakes IV Therapy Department Standards of Care. Adheres to regulatory body/agency standards.
