Position: Registered Nurse Department: Regional Referral Center Facility: 1611 S Main St., Dayton, OH 45409 Shift: PRN Varied Hours/ 8 Hours Per Pay This position consists of the responsibilities of the System Access Center Coordinator and the System Patient Logistics Nurse Coordinator. The Patient Logistics nurse will be cross trained in Central Logic application to facilitate rapid bed placement, monitor bed placement by utilizing the EPIC bed boards for the system, work with physicians, nursing leadership, and EVS to expedite discharge of patients. These functions are designed to decrease length of stay, and decrease patients leaving without being seen, ultimately increasing patient satisfaction/experience. The nurse will work proactively with the referring facilities to drive emergent and non-emergent referrals to all Premier Health Facilities.
